Why can't I view adult material?
Guests do not have this access, only Platinum Members. When a member joins, the adult material option is set to "No" by default to avoid offending members who do not wish to view adult material. Any time the adult pictures viewing option is "No" an icon (a yellow triangle with an exclamation point) will appear instead of the adult image. Changing that option to "Yes" will enable viewing the adult material for Platinum Members. It is disabled for guest.. To access this area, place your cursor on "Settings" in your member toolbar (the light gray one), click on "Account" then scroll down to "Allow Adult Pictures", select "Yes" and click on "Submit."
Why can't I upload pictures?
Uploading pictures must be done from the Member toolbar. The options on the site tool bar (the dark gray one) are for viewing the existing work of all members. To upload pictures, place your cursor on "Media" then click on "Pictures." All pictures must be uploaded to an album. If you don't have one already, click on "Create album." Type in a description of the album, then select your album options for password and who can view, then click on "Submit." Once you've created your album, you can open it using the "View albums" tab and clicking on the album into which you want to upload the images. Select "Add picture". Next, type in a description of the image and choose the image you want to upload from your hard drive. Finally, select your options for ratings, adult content, comments and album cover. Click on "Submit" to begin the upload. When it's finished you may repeat the process for as many pictures as the album will hold. Click here to read more about uploading images from our Blog section.
How do I adjust the thumbnail image of my pictures?
On the member toolbar (light gray) select Media then click on Pictures. Click on desired Album. Click on desired picture. Position frame over desired area. Adjust frame size by positioning cursor over a corner of the frame. Hold down left mouse button and drag frame to desired size. Release mouse button. Click on submit. This will save your new thumbnail. You must refresh your screen to see the new thumbnail.
I've forgotten my password. How can I get back in?
The password must be reset by an administrator for you. To request a password reset, click on the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page. Enter the email address you used when you registered, select "Other Question" then type in your request. Be sure to include your user name in the description. Finally, type in the verification code and click on "Submit." The administrator will be notified of your need and will address it as quickly as possible. Once the password has been reset for you, log in and use the "Settings" option on the member toolbar to create a new password.
I know my username and password, but I can't log in. Why?
This happens when the username and password you typed in don't match the information on the database. The most common errors are misspelled usernames or passwords. Passwords are case sensitive, so be sure that your computer keyboard's "Caps Lock" light is off. Another common reason is that you've entered your email address instead of your Username. If you've done everything right and still can't get in, please notify the administrator using the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.
I have some concerns about who sees my pictures. How can I control who sees them?
You can do this in two ways. First, you can set your images to be viewed only by Friends. These are members of the site with whom you've already established a level of trust by becoming friends with them. The second way is to password protect your album. All members will then have to ask your permission to see the images. You can change that password as often as you like, too.
I don't like comments or ratings. Can I turn those features off?
Yes, you can turn those features off for any images in your albums at your own discretion.
I like seeing comments on my pictures, but some of them are inappropriate. What can I do?
You can delete any comments made on your pictures for any reason you wish. If you believe that a comment does not conform to our Code of Conduct, please report it to the administrator.
How do I know if something I don't like violates the Code of Conduct?
First, read the entire Code of Conduct. It's viewable by clicking on the "Terms of service" link at the bottom of the page. Once you've done that, if you still don't know, contact the administrator using the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page. Be sure to include all the necessary information so the administrator can review it.
I am offended by a picture, but it conforms to the Code of Conduct. What can I do about it?
Artist and Model Network is devoted to its members and their right to free expression of their art. If an image conforms to the Code of Conduct, the only thing that you can do is either (a) set your Adult pictures option to "No" or (b) just don't view the image any more.
I would like to refer my friends to this site. Can I do that?
We'd love you to refer your friends here. We've even made it easy for you - and there are benefits to you for referrals. All you need is the email address of your friends. Click on the "Invite Friends" link at the bottom of the page. You can invite as many as 10 friends at a time, and the email invitation they receive will come from your email account. You don't even have to include a message, because we've scripted it for you. We did leave you a place for a message that you can use as a PS or signature line, but it's not necessary. If they join as a result of your invitation, using the link they receive in the email, their membership will be tied to you.
How do I let other members know I'm available for work?
We've put an Events calendar on the site specifically for casting calls, travel notices and special events. Items placed on the events calendar are viewable by all members. It's also a good idea to reach out to members in the specific area with private messages. When a private message is created, members are notified by email, so they know that they've received them.
What is the purpose of a blog?
Blogs are for writing about specific topics of interest to the community. Blogs should be on relevant topics (for example, lighting, modeling tips, etc.).
How do you decide what image to use in your banners?
We include banners at random from the members on our site. Each time a page change occurs, the banners change in random fashion and each banner may or may not link directly to the member's page. If you wish to have an image removed from the banner rotation, please let us know. We will remove the image from our banner pool within thirty days. If you'd like one of your images to be included as a banner, please read the Blog (on our Blogs page) for the specifics. Once you've created your banner (either top/bottom or side) save it to a .jpg file and email it to Fletch@artistandmodelnetwork.com. You can have both a top and a side banner, and you can have multiple banners. New banners are introduced about once a month, but it could vary a bit.
